The Class of 1970
Peggy Robertson Clark
About Me: 1974: Bachelor of Music, applied Voice, Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, TX
1976: Master of Music, applied Voice, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX
Married David Clark of Asheville, NC in 1975. We have two daughters, Lindsey and Sherri, and 6 grandchildren. My husband David is pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL, where I also serve as director of music ministry and worship. I've spent most of my adult life living in North Carolina and the last 16 years in Florida. I still have family in central and south TX, so while I visit TX frequently, I rarely make it back to West Texas. I was prompted to check this website because one of my older sisters recently attended her 50th SHS reunion and it was fun seeing pictures of folks I knew. Still proud to be from Sweetwater.
About Me: I retired from the U.S. Post Office in 2008. Went to work for Sweeter ISD in the fall of 2008 as an Aide and Bus Driver to the Alternative School and will start my ninth year. I have been married to my wonderful wife Janie Healer Davis for forty five years. I have one son Scott, 36, who works for the Wind Energy business. And as always I follow the Mustangs every year.
Rachel Anita Sims Goodale
About Me: Wife, mother, Nana, retired elementary school teacher, political activist, gardener
Comments: I am interested in receiving info regarding any future class reunions.
Cindy McCoy Haynes
Still a freeze-dried hippiechick channeling the 60s. I teach first grade and work very hard to create lifelong learners with a passion for Mother Earth. Excited about retiring and hope to sell my house and buy a tiny house or an RV to travel the country. I don't get back to Sweetwater since my Mom passed in 2006, but have reconnected with folks through social media. I have many fond memories of my time and friends.
Debra Smith LeCompte
I live and work in Germany where my husband's job with the State Department has brought us. I love photography, writing, music, travel, and entertain friends in our home often. Come and see us!
I have lived in South Carolina the last 25 years. I am looking forward to moving back to Texas and seeing my "buddies".
