First Financial Bank Recognizes Faculty and Staff Perfect Attendance at Sweetwater High School
"There is no substitute for a great teacher," said First Financial Bank President Kirby Andrews, "we want them in school every day!" This is why First Financial Bank partners with Sweetwater High School to recognize faculty and staff members with perfect attendance during each grading period. The teacher perfect attendance program is in addition to the bank's recognition for students in each grade level who have perfect attendance each grading period.
Yesterday, high school Mathematics Teacher Kathie McElroy was recognized by the First Financial Bank and Sweetwater High School administration teams. She received a heartfelt thank you for always being there for her students and a $50.00 appreciation gift from the First Financial Bank team.
Having a certified teacher in front of students each day engages students in relevant aligned curriculum. "Teachers often have to re-teach material, restore order and rebuild relationships after absences," said High School Principal Ronald Morris. "We love our substitutes and value their work as well."
Other faculty and staff members with perfect attendance include: Heather Blakeley, Chris Carruthers, Chad Copeland, Deborah Doak, Shane Faucett, Brandie Gee, Jarrod Gee, Zachary Harrell, Ami Houston, Skylar Houston, Dan Huskerson, Pam Lawrence, Tina Melendez, Liz Miller, Bailey Minor, Ronald Morris, Kristian Morris, Lori Ortega, Cory Rains, Monica Reyes, Bobby Sands, Kristie Vickers, Nina Wilson, and Kathy Witt.
Congratulations to Kathie McElroy for earning the First Financial Bank Teacher Attendance Award. Sweetwater High School is thankful to have partners like First Financial Bank supporting their effort to become the premier high school in the Big Country!
