Brownlow and Heredia to Represent SHS at HOBY 2014

Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) delegates have been selected for Sweetwater High School this week. Mickenzie Brownlow will serve as a delegate and Hannah Heredia as an alternate.

Every spring, more than 9,000 deserving high school sophomores from across the country are chosen to represent their high schools in HOBY State Leadership Seminars. The seminars allow students to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective leaders in their home, school, and community. Selected students attend a 3 day seminar and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, all while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in their community.

Mickenzie is the daughter of Brian and Debbie Brownlow. Hannah is the daughter of Tony and Diamond Heredia.
