Mustang Bowl Named to Texas Football Stadium Hall of Fame

According to a new book by Robert McSpadden, "There is no better High School football stadium in Texas than Sweetwater ISD's Mustang Bowl." The book, Texas Football Stadium Guide - 2014 and Hall of Fame, details other facts such as, "The Mustang Bowl was built by the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1939 making it older than most stadiums currently in use, but the community has maintained and modernized the facilities over the years in a way that makes it a modern venue for football. If you're ever around Sweetwater on a Friday night in the fall, this is the place watch football. The students were excited in 1939 and they are excited today."

The Mustang Bowl is featured on the cover of Mr. McSpadden's book.
