SISD Alumni Spotlight: Officer Robert Clark


Officer Robert Clark

Officer Robert Clark (aka O.C.) is a Class of 1969 graduate of Sweetwater High School. He has spent 30+ years in law enforcement and is still on the job after retiring for the second time. He started in the 80’s with the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office and then worked for 26 years with the Sweetwater Police Department. During that time he taught the DARE Program, was the crime prevention officer, and the intoxilizer operator. He was awarded Sweetwater’s Outstanding Citizen and favorite police officer. He retired from Sweetwater and went to work for Snyder Police Department where he was the SRO, and has now retired to a position with the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office. He and his wife, Linda, still live in Sweetwater.

Sarah Cumbie

Sarah Cumbie is a 2009 Graduate of Sweetwater High School.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin,TX.

Sarah is the center manager and physical therapist at the new Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Outpatient Therapy location in Farmers Branch where she treats athletes of all ages and all sports. She specializes in golf performance and injury rehabilitation and recently helped develop the Fit Fore 18 program with Baylor Scott & White Rehab.
