Also, TEA created a STAAR collection on iTunes U which now includes the presentations given by Criss Cloudt and Gloria Zyskowski at Midwinter Conference. Coming next week are videos of the presentations given by Victoria Young at TCTELA last month. We will also be posting these videos on Project Share in the near future.  As always, we will keep you updated. -- Norma Torres-Martinez

CSCOPE, developed by Texas Education Service Centers and a team of content experts, is a comprehensive, customized, user-friendly curriculum management system built on the most current research-based practices in the field. Its primary focus is to impact instructional practices in the classroom to improve student performance.

CSCOPE curriculum documents include Readiness and Supporting Standards, College and Career Readiness Standards. CSCOPE Math additionally contain the Texas Response to Focal Points. New CSCOPE components 2011 include: Vertical Alignment Document Year at a Glance TEKS Verification Matrix Instructional Focus Documents in the subjects of Math, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. **Please note 2010-2011 curriculum documents should be cleared from saved files. If there are printed copies, we suggest the removal of these documents to avoid confusion. Users of CSCOPE should use online 2011-2012 documents to be current with Texas Education Agency TEKS/STAAR/EOC information and expectations.

The goal of the Texas User Group is to connect K-12 Google App Users within the state in order to share and learn from each other through community discussion forums, events, and webinars. It is open to all K-12 schools and teachers in the state of Texas.
