Austin Burt Receives Gold Medal in Choir at State Solo and Ensemble

On Monday, May 30th, Austin Burt competed at Hendrickson High School for the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest.  Austin received a Gold UIL Solo Medal for his superior First Division rating on his Class I, Bass Solo. His judge wrote comments such as, "Well Prepared Student! Great Performance!" Austin is the son of Clay and Tamra Burt and his Choir Director and Vocal Coach is Melody Squires.
