Clift & Lehnert Win Local Spelling Bees

SMS 7th grader John Clift and SIS 5th grader Kara Lehnert won their local contests and will represent Sweetwater ISD at the Odessa American Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 25th. Collin Stafford won second place at SIS and Dharma Hernandez won second place at the Sweetwater Middle School competition. The winner of the upcoming regional Spelling Bee will have the opportunity to compete nationally.
