Southeast Parent - Teacher Organization

Mission Statement

"PTO is a partnership between staff and families to serve together to enhance and maximize the educational potential of every child."

What is PTO?

PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist efforts to solve school needs through volunteers and funding. All parents and other family members are automatically members of the Southeast PTO and encouraged to participate in PTO activities thoughout the year, even if unable to attend the monthly meetings. In addition to activities,  PTO promotes open communication and understanding between parents and staff on issues that impact our children.

PTO activities happen often at Southeast with the parents who volunteer in and out of school. Preparing special events for staff appreciation, creating school and family social interaction and hosting fundraising events are just a few examples of PTO activities.  It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

Earning for Learning

Our school participates in several programs that offer FREE money for products and services you may already use.

For our programs, such as Box Tops, Campbell's Labels for Education, Tyson, and Coke Rewards, we simply ask you tear off the item before you throw the package away. These items may be sent in to your child's teacher any day of the week.  (Please place all items in an envelope or baggie, labeled with your child's name and teacher name to receive credit for prizes.)

Please review these programs to see how easy it is for you to help earn money for Southeast!
