SMS 7th Grade Girls Red Basketball Team Wins Home Tournament

Photo by Carola MartinThe 7th Grade Red Team Girls Basketball Team placed first at the SMS Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 7th.  They defeated Merkel in game 1 and Midland Christian in game 2.

The 7th and 8th Grade White Teams both placed second at the tournament:

8th White Team -

won vs. C. City 34-15

won vs. Midland Christian 35 -2

lost vs. Jim Ned 19-22

8th Red Team -

lost vs Hermiegh 13 - 24

lost vs Merkel 21 - 26

won vs Midland Christian 43-18

7th White Team -

won vs. C. City 16 - 12

won vs. Midland Christian 37 -16

lost vs. Jim Ned 22-24 (OT)
