Mustang Tennis Results at San Angelo
Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 8:38AM The Mustang Tennis Team traveled to San Angelo to participate in the Brandon Clark Memorial Tournament on Friday. The tournament was hosted by San Angelo Lakeview. The Mustangs did an outstanding job and came home with several awards. Heidi Taylor, senior, grabbed third place in Girls Singles. Isaiah Hernandez, junior, brought home a trophy as well. He played boys singles and won consolation. Also, mixed doubles pair Chris Hernandez and Madison Meneses won 1st place. The played the Snyder’s #1 mixed doubles team in the finals and won 6-7 (10-7), 6-0. We did very well at the tournament. I am looking forward to a successful spring season. The Sweetwater Invitational will be held at the high school this week. JV will play on Thursday, Varsity will play on Friday, and middle school will play on Saturday. -- Shella Arnwine
