Meet the Teacher is almost here!
We encourage all families to attend Meet the Teacher so you and your child can find their classroom, meet their teacher, and become familiar with where they'll be learning this year. It's the perfect opportunity to walk your child to class before the first day of school.
On the first day of school, our goal is to make arrival as smooth and safe as possible. We ask that families use our morning drop-off procedures by following the drop-off line on 12th Street. Staff members will be waiting at the front entrance to welcome students and escort them to the gym, cafeteria, or directly to class as needed.
If you're feeling a little nervous about your child's first day, stop by the counselor's table during Meet the Teacher! I'll have a sign-up sheet for parents who would like me to check in on their child during the first day of school and give you a quick update on how they're doing.
We can't wait to welcome our Mustang families for another great year!

The countdown to a brand-new school year is on, and we couldn't be more excited!
For the 2026–2027 school year, Pre-K through 2nd Grade students will attend East Ridge Elementary, and we're looking forward to welcoming our newest and returning Mustangs for another fantastic year of learning, growth, and fun!
To help your family get ready, we've included the school supply lists for each grade level below. Getting supplies checked off now means one less thing to worry about as the first day of school gets closer.
❤️ We can't wait to see our hallways filled with smiling faces and kick off another amazing year at East Ridge Elementary. Here's to a great 2026–2027 school year—it's going to be a fantastic one!
