Sweetwater ISD will be on Fall Break October 1–5.
Students and staff will be out during this time, so we wanted to give families plenty of notice to plan ahead for childcare, travel, appointments, or a little extra time together.
Classes and regular district operations will resume following the break.

Join us for East Ridge Open House on September 24 from 4:30–6:00 PM! Families can pick up report cards, sign parent/student compacts, and receive important Title I information.

Thank you so much for working with us as we get used to our new afternoon pick-up procedures! Day 2 went so much faster than Day 1, and we had our car pick up lines finished by 3:40! 🎉 We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue working to make dismissal as smooth and safe as possible.

📢 Registration Reminder for All Families!
Returning Students:
If your child is returning this school year, please log in to the Parent Portal and complete all required annual registration forms as soon as possible.
New Students:
If your child is new to the district, please check your email for the Parent Portal ID needed to link your child to your Parent Portal account. Once your child has been linked, you can complete the required annual registration forms.
Please Note:
All required annual registration forms must be completed before your child can receive their class schedule.

Meet the Teacher is almost here!
We encourage all families to attend Meet the Teacher so you and your child can find their classroom, meet their teacher, and become familiar with where they'll be learning this year. It's the perfect opportunity to walk your child to class before the first day of school.
On the first day of school, our goal is to make arrival as smooth and safe as possible. We ask that families use our morning drop-off procedures by following the drop-off line on 12th Street. Staff members will be waiting at the front entrance to welcome students and escort them to the gym, cafeteria, or directly to class as needed.
If you're feeling a little nervous about your child's first day, stop by the counselor's table during Meet the Teacher! I'll have a sign-up sheet for parents who would like me to check in on their child during the first day of school and give you a quick update on how they're doing.
We can't wait to welcome our Mustang families for another great year!
Do you need to enroll your new to Sweetwater ISD child in Kindergarten? It's easy! You can enroll them through our parent portal. https://www.sweetwaterisd.net/page/registration.
Registration staff will be back on campus July 20th if you need help. If your child was in Headstart or Pre-K at Southeast last year, you do NOT need to re-enroll them.
