🏈🍕 44 POINTS, 50-POINT REWARD, AND A WHOLE LOT OF COLT PRIDE! ❤️🤍

Sometimes the best victories aren't just about what happens on the scoreboard!

Earlier this season, Superintendent Reggy Spencer gave our 8th Grade Colts a little extra motivation: Score 50 points in a game, and pizza is on me! 🍕🏈

Well, our Colts took that challenge seriously! They delivered an impressive 44-point performance, but what makes this story even better is how it ended.

Rather than focusing on reaching a number, our coaches emphasized something far more important — great sportsmanship, respect for their opponents, and winning with class.

And Mr. Spencer? He decided that kind of Mustang spirit deserved a pizza party anyway! ❤️

At last night's school board meeting, these young men were recognized for their outstanding performance, teamwork, and sportsmanship — and, yes, THEY GOT THEIR PIZZA! 🍕👏

Because at Sweetwater ISD, we're not just building great athletes. We're building young men of character!

Congratulations to our 8th Grade Colts and their coaches! We're proud of the way you represent Sweetwater!

🍂 Save the Date: Sweetwater ISD Fall Break

Sweetwater ISD will be on Fall Break October 1–5.

Students and staff will be out during this time, so we wanted to give families plenty of notice to plan ahead for childcare, travel, appointments, or a little extra time together.

Classes and regular district operations will resume following the break.

Enjoy the time off, Mustangs! ❤️🐴
