Sweetwater ISD has continued to monitor road conditions throughout the community. After evaluating sidewalks, parking lots, and streets surrounding our campuses, we have determined that conditions remain unsafe for students and staff to return at this time. As a result, school has been canceled for Thursday, January 29.

Sweetwater ISD is closely monitoring conditions in campus parking lots and on roads and sidewalks around our schools, including less-traveled areas. Our primary concerns are safe travel conditions for everyone and parking lot conditions for staff and students.
After working closely with the City of Sweetwater, the decision has been made to delay the start of school until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29. School buses will run at least two hours later than their regular schedules and will not operate on rural routes.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding.

ALL Seniors need to take a picture with a cap and gown for the yearbook. If you took pictures this summer, but did NOT take one with the Cap and Gown, you WILL need to take a picture tomorrow.
Remember, there is NO cost for this and the photography company has the cap and gown for you to wear.
For the group photo, please wear your class shirt.
