For several years now, the SMS 8th graders have dissected frogs at the end of the year to celebrate their work in science through middle school. Mr. Doggett is doing this today and the kiddos are having fun getting their "hands dirty" and doing some fun science. Great job Mr. Doggett! Thank you for all that you do for our kids!
Congratulations to these 6th grade authors from Ms. Riddle’s classes! They entered the fight or flight writing contest and have been selected to be published in the book Fight or Flight — US Tales of Imagination!
The SMS Choirs traveled to Lubbock on Friday to perform and compete in the Irons Choral Festival. All 3 choirs brought back 1st Division Superior Ratings and a trophy. Please see their picture and congratulate these students and Mrs. Doggett for an awesome job representing SMS.
