Brody Gibson and Bailey Rainbolt were recipients of the Vardon Trophy for men's and women's golf at the All Sports Banquet . The award goes to the player on the boys & girls varsity golf teams who have the lowest scoring average for the year. Gibson is a junior and a 3 year varsity letterman while Rainbolt, a sophomore, is a 2 year varsity letterman at Sweetwater High School. 91 SHS students made the A-Honor Roll in the 5th six weeks and Texas National Bank continued with its commitment to recognize and award one lucky scholar from each grade with $50. The winners of the TNB Good Grades Pay Award were Adrian Torres (9th Grade), Yuvisela Hernandez (10th Grade), Ryan Rivera (11th Grade), and Rihanna Salinas (12th Grade). The Good Grades Pay program was established by TNB in 2012 to encourage SHS students to do well in school and pursue higher education. To date, the bank has awarded $11,000 to local students.
