My great grandmother was the first teacher ever in Sweetwater. My mother taught English here for thirty years. I had many good Spanish teachers here, Mr. Rodriquez, Mrs. Carpenter, and Mrs. Vinson. I would like to build the program back to what it once was.
I have had many good friends that encouraged me to speak Spanish, "muchas gracias".

Steve shares "My whole family are educators, and my dad originally encouraged me to become a teacher after college. Since becoming a teacher, 11 years ago, I have loved pouring into students and kids every year.
