SISD's STAAR testing will begin on April 9. Please check relevant dates for your student's testing and ensure that they are in attendance for every test possible.
Sweetwater Winter Guard traveled to Big Spring, Texas to compete in the Howard College Indoor Festival and took home 2nd place in Regional A! The team consists of Guadalupe Almanza, Kinzley Hutton, Krislynn Lopez, Gracie Oden, Liberty Osteen, Shomaraion Potts, Alexis Salazar, and Kahia Segura.
Captains for the team are Liberty Osteen and Guadalupe Almanza.
Sweetwater Winter Guard also took home a huge win with every single Sweetwater Soloist achieving Division 1, Superior Solos!
These soloists include: Guadalupe Almanza, Kinzley Hutton, Gracie Oden, Liberty Osteen, and Alexis Salazar.
The team and soloists are under the direction of Destiny Osteen.
