This is a fantastic opportunity to meet representatives from many prestigious universities, including Yale, Columbia, Duke, and the University of Texas. Attention Senior Parents, We are excited to announce that local scholarships are open and accepting applications! These scholarships are available for students who are planning to attend college, as well as for those entering the workforce. The workforce scholarship specifically helps with the necessary supplies and materials required for their jobs. Scholarship information can be found on our website and in the counseling office. Senior parents There will be a meeting in the library tomorrow night at 5:30 to start planning blow-out. This is the all night event held at the school after graduation to keep our students occupied and safe. Lots of prizes, too! Sweetwater High School: Dual Credit Night Invitation Join us for Dual Credit Night at the Sweetwater High School Library on Tuesday, April 1st, from 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM. This event is designed for students interested in enrolling in dual credit courses for the 2025-26 school year. THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 29th, SHS is hosting the Sweetwater Indoor Invitational for Competitive Color Guards for 11 West Texas area schools. Sweetwater will have 6 soloists & 1 exhibition performance. Due to construction, the upper parking lot drop off area at SHS will be closed on Thursday, March 6th. Students and faculty will still be able to park in the parking lot, but all buses and other drop offs will need to take place on Ragland Street and in the parking lot by the Science building.

Baseball and softball for tonight has been cancelled. Baseball will play Wednesday March 5, 2025 @ 4 pm. Varsity only. Softball TBA

Congratulations to Eilzabeth Bock for receiving Superior ratings on two art pieces at the Region 14 Visual Art Scholastic Event Saturday at Cooper High School. She also has four pieces at the Grace Museum, along with art by Charlie Garcia, Ricco Flores, Averi Rosas, Lola Toland, Mallory Gibson, Ramsey Flores, Tucker Hansen, Sarah Lingafelter and Ayanna River. Go see this extraordinary art show celebrating Youth Art Month with hundreds of area student artist's work. The show will be on display until 3/20.

Sweetwater ISD: Sweetwater ISD will have have a 10AM start due to uncertain weather conditions. Though roads are currently clear, there is uncertainty of what they will look like in the next couple of hours. We want to ensure that everyone is able to travel safely.
