As we continue celebrating Career and Technology Education Month, we are excited to recognize two more outstanding members of our CTE faculty: Kalyn Tate, our Animal Sciences teacher, and Jamie Hubbell, our Plant Sciences teacher!
Through hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and a passion for agriculture, Ms. Tate and Ms. Hubbell inspire students every day to explore careers in animal care, veterinary science, horticulture, and plant systems. Their dedication helps students grow as leaders, problem-solvers, and future professionals in one of the most important industries in our community.
Thank you, Kalyn Tate and Jamie Hubbell, for the incredible impact you make and for helping our students thrive! 👏🌾

Out of an abundance of caution due to the threat of inclement weather, school will release early at 2:00 PM tomorrow, January 23.
Thank you for your flexibility and support as we prioritize student safety. Stay safe!

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday. Enjoy the holiday as we honor Dr. King’s legacy.

Update on New Bus Passes
Yesterday SISD Transportation department handed out the new bus passes to students who are already on a bus route.
If your student did not receive a pass, but are already riding the bus they will continue to ride the bus.
The bus drivers have a list of assigned bus riders.
Once all riders have a pass, they will be required to have it when entering and exiting the bus.
We will continue to get your students to school and home safely.
We will be deliver passes to the students, who did not receive one as they become available to us.
Again, if your student is signed up and has been assigned to a route and are riding a bus, they will continue to ride.
If you have any questions or concerns, please to not hesitate to call the Transportation Department.
