Scharles Kelley, wife of the late former Sweetwater Police Chief Jim Kelley, was presented with a special gift at the Municipal Auditorium Arts Camp. As you know, the former police station is now utilized by the auditorium, in a way combining Jim's dedication to law enforcement and Scharles' love for art. Today, the former Criminal Investigation Division was officially recognized as the Jim & Scharles Kelley Art Room & Criminal Investigation Division. What a great way to commemorate the legacy of the late Jim Kelley and the passion of Scharles. We hope this room continues to be a bright spot for our youth to learn the beauty of art.
