#BondFactFriday Sweetwater ISD convened a bond planning committee, made up of parents, grandparents, business leaders, community leaders and SISD staff members to study and prioritize facility needs of the district. They met over the course of several months to develop and recommend a bond proposal plan to the Board of Trustees, who approved and called an election to be held this May.

About 30 years ago, Liz Miller began coaching a few students in creating a short jump rope routine for local audiences. Jump Rope has grown into a strong SISD tradition and elementary students dream of making the Team. They have been performing for over 30 years in a variety of venues across the state including the San Antonio Spurs.
