In January, Sweetwater High School proudly hosted nine school districts at the Texas DECA District 9 Competition held at Texas State Technical College of West Texas.
We’re thrilled to announce that our talented Sweetwater students have truly outdone themselves—last year, six students qualified for State, and this year, an incredible 32 students are advancing to the State level!

Congratulations to our East Ridge Elementary Spelling Bee Champion: Carter Gomez!
Carter, a 2nd grader in Mrs. Daniel's class, showcased his incredible spelling skills by going 21 rounds during our campus finals!

Cold and flu season is here! To help prevent the spread of illness, Sweetwater ISD is taking additional steps to thoroughly clean and sanitize classrooms and common spaces.
Remember these tips to stay healthy: wash hands frequently, avoid close contact with others, stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep, dress appropriately for cold conditions, avoid touching your face, and cover your cough with your hand or elbow.
